C's teacher didn't mention anything to me when I picked her up, so I was planning on asking her about it in the morning, but when I got home I saw that they had attached an "incident report" along with her daily progress report. It was very formal sounding and made me laugh. It basically said that at 11:05 her teacher noticed what appeared to be a bite mark on Curran's arm, but that C had never given any indication that she had been the victim of an attack, so they didn't know who the guilty party was. Well, it didn't say "victim of attack" or "guilty party"... I added that for effect.
The cell phone pic doesn't do the bite mark justice. It looks pretty bad, but luckily she is a tough cookie and hasn't let it slow her down. :)

Yikes, I'm sorry Mary Louis, I know that made you sad. I can't believe Curran didn't fuss when it happened, she must be tough like you:) My son would probably be the biter in a class, he tries to bite me when he's tired or hungry. I think he's mostly frustrated and can't communicate. Maybe we need to work on the sign language more.
She's a trooper! I guess it is better to be the bitee than the biter, and I'm sure C defended herself in her own way ;)
oh...poor C! I laughed out loud at the 'victim of attack' statement though! She must be tough!!
