Curran's Newest Trick

This is what Uncle Craig has been trying to teach Curran (that's him in the hat). It's quite lady-like, if you ask me. We thought it was down-right hilarious, but it may be one of those things that only parents, uncles and aunts (that's Christopher's voice in the background encouraging her) think is funny.

Unfortunately she likes to do it while she's eating, so I usually end up with a chunk or two (or twenty) of baby food on some part of me. And FYI, she was buckled into the highchair, despite her very relaxed look.

*I just watched the video from the blog page, and it's not quite as funny as when we had it playing on the big screen last night (yes we did that) because you can't see her facial expressions as well. Her very intense look of concentration is what made it so funny in the first place.

Very cute! Simeon's Aunt Rebecca taught him a similar trick. He also has to concentrate first, it's so fun to watch. I don't know why his favorite time to perform is with a mouth full of baby food:)

Mitchell does a version of that all by himself. He usually does it when he gets excited while playing. I don't know if maybe some other child at daycare does it, or if he just started doing it on his own, but it is so so funny. He has never done it while eating, though. and hopefull won't start! She's a doll. Are ya'll going to the chili cookoff this weekend? Or, can we have the kids "play" sometime? I'm coming into town either late Thursday night or first thing Friday morning and will be there until Sunday afternoon. Would love to see you guys!
