Baby Quinn #2
We had our first ultrasound this morning, and they confirmed that there was just one baby in there, much to my relief. :) {Several friends and family members- John included- have been convinced we were having twins.} They gave me a due date of April 4 {making me 8 weeks 5 days}, one week behind what they originally guessed. We knew it was either March 28 or April 4, so I was glad to know for sure, although I hated to lose one week. :) Not to wish this time away, but I am so ready to be out of the first trimester. I feel awful. But the most important thing was that everything looked great, and we heard a healthy heartbeat at 167! Hearing that sweet sound always makes me tear up, and this time was no different. Curran was with us this morning, and as soon as we were finished with the ultrasound, she said, "Come out now?" talking about the baby. I had told her the baby wasn't coming until March, not that she understands what in the world that means but she would repeat that over and over, so now she's trying to remember 'April.'

Um, yeah, so color me surprised. I missed your initial annoucement about expecting due to a work overload-enforced social media black out these last 2 weeks. I am so behind. My Google Reader is out of control. All that to say, yay! Congrats. Hope the bean eases up on Mama soon. I know how hard it is to remember, but just take solace in the fact that being sick is a good sign. Love you guys!

Congratulation Mary Louis! That is wonderful news. I also hope you feel better soon, from what I hear you gain quicker the second time. If I am blessed again that will not be something I'm looking forward to as I felt like I was in maternity clothes very quickly. I'm sure you look great!
