This will be a very random post with some pictures thrown in.
Last weekend we had my cousin and his wife over for dinner. They started off the evening by sharing the wonderful news that they are expecting! I am so excited that Curran will have another cousin here in town!
My cousin's wife Abby with Chris
C getting some snuggle time with Uncle C
I think C could eat her weight in Ritz crackers
Abby brought us some Savage's cookies, so I let Curran have one for a snack the next afternoon. The icing got everywhere, but she loved it!
C and L got some play time Saturday afternoon. The grown-ups were talking in the front yard, and I looked over and the girls had climbed into the wagon and were just "talking" and smiling at each other. :)
Our friend Marc went to Mardi Gras and brought back lots of great beads for C. She had so much fun putting them on strand by strand and then taking them all off. She did it over and over and over.
I made Curran's classmates and teachers some shamrock cookies for St. Patrick's Day.
At school, the kids baked and then decorated cupcakes for St. Paddy's, so I let C have hers for dessert Thursday night.
Notice a trend with her new cheesy face?? :)
Christopher is now officially on maternity leave. The baby is not here yet, but she had to give her work a specific return date, and not knowing exactly when the baby would come, she just decided to take this past week off. We walked to get coffee and muffins this morning. C is not interested in the stroller for long periods these days, so she got out and walked home. It takes 4eva but she is much more content that way.
We had just finished lunch and I got distracted in the middle of changing her clothes. She went and got her boots and put them on all by herself, correct feet and everything. She loves her some bags! {just like her mama at that age!}
We are VERY much looking forward to next week! My niece will be here on {or before} March 22nd!!! I absolutely cannot wait! It is a very exciting time for the Quinn/Lydick/Hey families!!

I cannot believe Christopher will have a little girl by next week??!?!? Also, I adore Curran. I love looking at her pictures. She is precious!
first of all, I love your header. I'm not sure how new it is because I read all my blogs in Reader, but it's so cute! LOVE the rainboots picture.
Second, PLEASE tell me that picture of Christopher is an optical illusion. I had to do a double take when I saw she was due in a week; she hardly looks pregnant from that angle!
Love reading your updates!! I'm slacking on my blogging.
Tell Christopher I'm thinking about her and sending healthy baby vibes and prayers!
oh, by the way, one more thing...how did you get your pictures so big? I know there is an "x large" option on the new editor, but on my blog the horizontal pics get chopped off. Did you have to change the settings or something??
Thanks for the sweet comments, girls! I appreciate them! :)
SD, Christopher is actually due on Monday, so she was 39 weeks/4 days in that pic. Doesn't it make you want to slap her? :) Although she does look really cute, I think the angle and shadows were helping her out some. At least that what's I'm telling myself so I won't be too depressed about how I looked when I was that preggers. :)
The pics are x large. In order for them to fit I had to change my template to Minima Stretch. Actually I had to change it when I did the new header and I happened to realize that the biggest pics would now fit. If you need to know how to do that, I can email you the steps.
Oh my gosh! I was thinking the same thing about Chris, AND she's wearing regular workout shorts and a t-shirt. I went into labor at 38 weeks, but by then all I could wear were my dad's scrubs! Haha! I can't believe her due date is here! That flew by! I'll be thinking of you guys and praying over the next few days (week at the most?)
