Babies!

*This post is way overdue. I started writing it weeks ago, but most of these pictures were lost in neverneverland after my computer bit the dust.*

I have mentioned on here before that two of my best friends, Katharyn and Sheela, are expecting babies. As a recap for people who may not know me well, there are 5 of us that are best friends and are all new {-ish for me} mothers or mothers-to-be.

{This was back when only 2 of the other 4 were expecting-- only we didn't know about Chris quite yet.}

Curran is the oldest baby in the group, followed by Leray who is 2 months old, then Sinclair who is due next month. All girls so far. We got together a few weeks ago to find out whether Sheela and Ryan were expecting a boy or girl. Ryan was gung-ho that it was a boy, based solely on the odds. My guess was girl. We ate dinner first, and FINALLY got to find out during dessert who we were adding to our group!

Sheela had these cute little signs made for the cupcakes:

It's kind of hard to read in this picture. It says, "Pink or Blue. Girl or Boy. What will it be? Take a look in the cupcake and you will see!" {or something similar. i can't read it either.}

I quickly ripped mine apart, and the inside was PINK!!!

I love this picture! First of all, my reaction was pretty funny. Secondly, I love that Katharyn didn't even bother with her own cupcake. She just waited to see what mine looked like. Thirdly, Christopher is notoriously slow. She doesn't even have her fork into hers yet. And lastly, C doesn't have a clue what is going on. She just had a tight grip on hers! :)

So excited to be adding another girl to our group!

Then the following week, we all got together to find out what Katharyn and John were having. We went over to her parents house for dinner after work. She let her sister-in-law do the honors of opening the box containing either a boy or girl's outfit. {Her SIL is pregnant with their second, and they have not found out the gender either time. So her husband is always the one who gets to announce the gender to a waiting room full of family members. So Kat wanted her to have a chance to get to make that type of announcement.} Well......

It's a BOY!!!!

We are SO very excited to be getting some testosterone in the group!! We have already been fighting over whose boyfriend he's going to be. And we Quinn girls like 'em two years younger, so C is not out of the running! :)
