This was the longest we have ever stayed at the beach, and it was so nice and relaxing! After the rest of the fam left at the beginning of the week, I honestly didn't think we would end up staying until Sunday because the house felt so lonely. But of course, with each passing day, we wanted to leave less and less. :)
And this little chick loves the beach!
Every night when one of our neighbors walked by the house, he would say "I bet Curran is sleeping well tonight! She just loves it out here!!" :) She certainly played hard during the day.
Some random things I want to remember from this trip:
Curran has started shaking her head "no." I don't think it always necessarily means no, though. Sometimes she does it to anything I ask with inflection in my voice indicating a question. Other times she does it when she is up to something she knows she is not supposed to be doing, and I say "Curran...." in my stern voice. Other times she does it randomly. It is so cute that I have a hard time not laughing every time she does it.
She now has a favorite book. It is a touch and feel alphabet book called B is for Bear that my Aunt Janie gave her a few months ago. We leave it down here so we don't have to carry books back and forth from Birmingham. She starts freaking out when she sees it, and she will pick it up and bring it to me to read, and wait impatiently for me to put her in my lap. I love it because that is the only book she does that with!
