Our sweet friends, Brad and Ellen Hawley, desperately need prayers! On Monday, Brad was working out at the gym when he fell on his head and suffered a fractured skull which caused a venous bleed in his brain. He was taken into emergency surgery and was initially doing well. However, there have been some bumps in the road, and he was taken back into surgery this morning to drain a new collection of blood and to address some swelling. Their son, Webb, is one of Curran's best buddies. They have been in school together since they were 3 months old, and they love each other dearly. We haven't mentioned anything about Brad's injury to Curran, but she must have picked up on something at school, because this morning she randomly said that she wanted Webb to come over so we can "babysit him", and then she asked why Webb's grandmother has been picking him up from school. They she said, "Awww, I miss them!" {talking about Brad and Ellen}.
They have a strong support system here in town, but I know they covet prayers!
