Georgia Aquarium

We took Curran on a mini BabySisterMoon this past Saturday. We wanted to do something fun and special with her before the baby comes, so we took her to Atlanta to go to the Georgia Aquarium for the day. She is really into fish/sea creatures right now, so I thought she would really enjoy it. And she did!

This is when we were on a moving sidewalk in a tunnel underneath part of a big tank.

This is her smile when she's trying not to act too excited about something. :)

She liked the whale sharks, although she will tell you she "not like sharks. They scary."

There were some huge manarays that were fun to watch.

She loved sitting in this room just watching everything.

She spotted several "Dory" fish on the coral reef.

I had told her we were going to see Nemo, so thank goodness they had one. He was even playing in the anemone just like in the movie. :) C was not as impressed as I thought she would be though.

Checking out "Nemo"

She liked the "Baby Belugas" as well

She visited the penguins a couple of times.

She liked the tunnel you could crawl through and then pop up to say hello.

Yelling "ribbit ribbit" at the frogs.

She wanted to go back to the Ocean Voyager exhibit, and when we did, they had divers in the tank. I thought that was pretty neat, but C was getting wild by that point (see below- running and jumping everywhere), so we grabbed some lunch.

After we ate, we went to the dolphin show. We weren't allowed to take pictures, but it was really neat and definitely our favorite thing. It was part cheesy theatrics {there was a singer/actor guy} and part really cool dolphin tricks. C loved it! She kept saying she wanted to see the dolphins again and has talked about it a lot since. It was a fun day, and we'll definitely go back with both girls when SC is a little older!

Keith and I love to go the Georgia aquarium! Maybe when all the girls are old enough we can have a family outing to the Georgia aquarium.
