For the past couple of years, a few of our friends have taken an annual trip to the pumpkin patch. Here is my post from C's first trip last year. We went to a different pumpkin patch this year and were so pleased! It was absolutely beautiful, and it didn't hurt that it was the most perfect Fall day! Curran hasn't been feeling great lately, so I wasn't sure how she would act, but there was lots for her to do, and she seemed to have a great time!
They had a big trailer filled with freshly-picked cotton that kids could play in. Of course Uncle Craig was dying to take C! :)
She LOVED it!
And she tried to get back in there after Uncle Craig took her out. :)
Ryan and Sheela {this was their first year to join us since they just moved back from Cali}
Craig and Christopher
Craig, C, John Q., Chris, Sheela, Katharyn, John L.
They had lots of fun farm animals for the kids {and adults} to see.
C loved the ducklings and even got to pet one!
Life is good on Uncle Craig's shoulders!
On the hay ride out to the pumpkin patch. {She is a very serious child sometimes, but I promise she was having fun. She was just taking it all in! :) }
Looking for the perfect pumpkins with Daddy.
This green pumpkin C picked up was a little too heavy, so...
she found a little rotting pumpkin that she carried around for the rest of the day. :)
After a stop for ice cream on the way home, C spent the rest of the afternoon playing with her favorite cousin-dog, Sadie.
C's favorite seat!
We had such a great weekend and are SO glad that Fall is finally here!!
