The weekend before Thanksgiving we drove to TN to join the Quinn family in Seveirville/Pigeon Forge area for the weekend. Growing up, the Quinns would take the boys to one or two TN football games per year and stay in a cabin near or in Gatlinburg and then drive to Knoxville for the game. So five years ago we did the same thing. It was my first time to stay in that area. This year the Quinns decided it was time to go back and take Curran to her first Vols game. Charlie and Camille as well as Robert and his girlfriend Kelly were there, so it was a fun weekend spending time with family!
As soon as we got there, we drove up to the top of the mountain in Gatlinburg {not sure what the official name is} because the boys wanted to ride the luges and relive their childhood glory days, but it had started to sprinkle so they closed all the outdoor activities. So instead C rode the carousel with Nana and then Uncle Charlie. This place was...interesting. :)

Then we went to the cabin and just hung out the rest of the afternoon and ordered pizza that night.

It was FREEZING but the porch was nice.
On Saturday, we drove to Gatlinburg and just wandered around some stores, but SC was really fussy and it was SO cold and rainy, so we ate a quick lunch and then headed back to the cabin.

The littlest Vol cheerleader and I stayed home from the game. It was a 7:00 game, but even before we knew the time I decided that it would be miserable to take her regardless. So we had some good QT at the house.
We walked down the hill to a little park for a bit.
Little CurryBug had a great time at the game! They said she was SUCH a good sport- never complaining one time, and it was COLD- like in the 30's. But she had on about 50 layers and we borrowed a snow suit from her friend.
On Sunday, we headed back to Birmingham and we sent the Princess back to Memphis with Nana and Pop. We were headed there for Thanksgiving that Wednesday night, so we figured it would be a good time for her to have her first solo trip there. Nana texted me the picture below.
We got there Wednesday night, and the girls were so excited to see one another! Precious!

On Saturday I took C to see Frozen. She loved it and we had so much fun!
It was a fun, laid-back holiday, and we were thankful for a fun week with family!
