On Thursday we went to John's Aunt Susie's house for lunch. Everything was beautiful and it was fun seeing most all of the Quinn side of the family! C had fun although all she wanted for lunch were rolls. Once she spotted those Sister Schubert's, it was all we heard: "I wanna woll!" was repeated about 85,000 times. We lost count of how many she actually ate. :)

For some reason, John always likes growing a beard around the holidays. Thankfully I was able to nip that in the bud early this year. :) {and now as soon as he reads this, he will want to start growing another one just to spite me}
We put on a movie for Curran, and Uncle Charlie was sitting on the floor. She drug a pillow over and plopped down next to him. :)
Then he started trying to teach her how to do a push up. We start early around here!
On Thanksgiving night, Mrs. Quinn's best friend, Mrs. Hough, came over to eat dinner with us. She was sweet and played with C and her new magnetic dress-up dolls for a long time. C was in heaven!
On Friday, Nana and Pop wanted to take C to see a movie, so John and I took that opportunity to run to a few stores by ourselves. We then joined Robert, Charlie and Camille downtown to watch the rest of the LSU game {Camille's team- so we have to pretend to like them when she's around :) }. Curran saw Happy Feet and apparently had a great time! She talked about it the rest of the weekend!
On Saturday, the boys played golf, so the girls did a little shopping. We also went to Mrs. Hough's house to see all her Christmas decorations. She runs an interior design business from her house, so she has lots of trees and other decorations for sale. C loved looking around!

My camera battery died right after this so I have no more pictures, but it was a fun and relaxing weekend that went by much too fast! But four days away from home with a two year old is a long time, so we were glad to be in our own beds Sunday night. We are so thankful for a wonderful family who we love spending time with!
