Last Monday Birmingham had a little snow and a lot of ice. Work was canceled for John {and most people}, so Curran and I were glad to have him home with us!
The ice was pretty slick, so we didn't spend too much time outside, but C had fun playing for a little while.
On Sunday when I heard it was going to snow, I sent John to Wal-Mart to get C some mittens. All they had left were boys's mittens, so John came home with these. They ain't cute but they work! {and she actually has on a navy blue pair under those. they came as a two-pack and they were thin!}
We walked to the end of our street to watch some kids sledding. You know you live in the South when you have a blast sledding down a street with a half inch of ice on it! :)
We visited with our neighbors while we watched the big kids play.
You can kind of see how many layers she was wearing. John made fun of me but it was cold!
Craig and Sissy came over to visit, and Craig took C off-roadin' in the Cozy Coupe. It made me nervous, and at one point I thought we needed to install a seat belt because there were some close calls with her head and the steering wheel, but clearly she loved it!
I love her little gap-toothed grin! Her smile is all teeth! :)
She also had fun playing catch with snowballs. She loves anything that she can catch and throw!
I hope we have another snow sometime this Winter...but preferably on a day when I am supposed to work! :)
