Halloween 2014

Better late than never! We have spent the past 6 Halloweens trick or treating in Homewood, so this year was very different. We decided we needed to stay in our neighborhood this year. Christopher mentioned inviting a few neighbors over to eat supper before trick or treating, and I decided to invite some of Curran's friends who live in our neighborhood too. We had hot dogs and chili and had the best time. It was SO cold and windy, but it was fun to get together with new people and possibly start a new tradition.

Curran has been talking about being Elsa for months. She borrowed Sinclair's wig and was convinced that people would think she was the real Elsa. :)

Sallie Cate really wanted to be Anna, so I let her wear her Anna dress to her school's Fall Festival and also to our church's Trunk or Treat. But I wanted her to be something sweet and babyish {probably for the last time} on Halloween. We had a slight battle over the duck costume but I eventually won. :) Although she wouldn't zip it except for one picture.

We got to the Heys, and the girls had fun jumping before the other guests arrived.

This was the first year that C ran off with her group of friends ahead of the grown ups. She had so much fun!

This little bit had fun too! After a while she started wanting to walk up to the houses by herself.

It was a really fun night spent with lots of fun friends!
